Plumbing and electrical rough-in, framing corrections, venting run to the exterior, then the wet area waterproofed as a continuous system and left to cure.

Tile, fixtures and finish
Tile set to an agreed layout, vanity and fixtures installed, trim and paint finished, silicone at movement joints, and a walk-through with the water running.

Less time than a kitchen, but there are unavoidable waits: waterproofing has to cure before tile, and thinset and grout each need their own drying time. Rushing those is exactly how a shower fails early. We give you a day-by-day schedule and, if it is your only bathroom, we plan the sequence to minimise the days it is genuinely out of use.
Only if the ventilation is corrected, and that is usually the actual problem — a fan that is too small for the room, ducted into the attic instead of outdoors, or that shuts off with the light switch before it has cleared the moisture. We size the fan, duct it to the exterior in insulated duct, and put it on a timer or humidistat.
You can retile a sound wall, but in a shower we would want to see what is behind it first. If the existing waterproofing is inadequate — and in anything more than about fifteen years old it often is — tiling over it just resets the clock on a leak. We will tell you honestly which situation you are in rather than selling the bigger job automatically.
